Changelog
What shipped, when, in plain dealer language. The workbench moves most weeks; the entries below are the ones that change how you trade.
-
Hot-buy alerts stop duplicating
When a reference re-crosses the HOT line, the existing alert now refreshes in place instead of minting a near-identical duplicate. A 7-day cooldown keeps the feed signal-dense, so a hot reference reads as one living post, not five stale ones.
-
Trust labels tightened on STEAL verdicts
A STEAL verdict scores the deal, not the seller — so every STEAL now carries an explicit "price-verified only, seller not vetted" line. Identity matching also got stricter: a bare namesake no longer auto-passes the identity check, and a Jr/Sr suffix conflict is treated as a different person.
-
Verify the counterparty before you wire
Deal verification now cross-references a name, address, phone, and email against public records and returns a composite trust score with the failing signals spelled out. It catches deceased records, a property owner-of-record who is not the person you are talking to, and borrowed phone numbers.
-
Deal verdicts re-scored on net margin after fees
Every captured deal is now scored on net ROI after resale fees, weighted by comp confidence. STEAL means at least 25% net on a clean reference — not a gut feel — and every verdict shows the evidence lines behind it.
-
Watch Auction Market Index + per-brand comp gates
Published the first quarterly Watch Auction Market Index — free to cite under CC BY 4.0. Verification tiers now use per-brand comp depth: a Rolex verdict needs 8 comps inside 90 days before it reads VERIFIED, and thinner brands get honest, wider gates instead of false confidence.
-
Family rotation signals
The signal engine now flags when momentum rotates between paired families — Nautilus vs Aquanaut, Royal Oak vs Code 11.59, Daytona vs Submariner — so you see where the money is going, not just where it has been.
-
Reference-level signals live
Momentum, convergence, and price-vs-chatter divergence now compute per reference, not just per brand. Built on 19,000+ auction records rolled into weekly medians.
-
Dealer-slang reference catalog
A 605-reference catalog now maps references to model families under the nicknames dealers actually use — "John Mayer", "Tiffany", and "Panda" all resolve to the right reference in search and pricing.
-
Hot-buy alerts + instant indexing
Reference temperature scoring v2 shipped with hot-buy alerts on not-hot to HOT transitions, and new market content now pings search engines the day it publishes.
